
So this is an envelope addressed to Carson. As you can tell they have a little trouble with the pronunciation. I think Swahili speakers have a hard time putting the r and s sounds together in a word, and K is pretty much the most popular letter in Swahili. If you were on Wheel of Fortune Swahili edition you would choose k first every time. I can't even think of a Swahili word with a c at the moment. My name is usually pronounced Holy. This envelope was actually addressed to me as well though. Bwana is sir or Mr. Na is and. And Bibi means grandmother, but in this case it's referring to me. I can't really explain why. It's some Tanzanian joke that I don't get. So now you know a little bit about Swahili.
