Heading to Dar

We are leaving early tomorrow morning to make the 2 day trip to Dar. I've been packing for weeks and I'm pretty excited that it's time to GO. I'm still not sure that I've really wrapped my mind around this whole having a baby thing. It just might not seem real until I'm holding him. Nah, I bet as soon as those contractions start it'll click!

I wanted to let everyone know that we've raised almost the full amount that we were hoping to help out with our travel expenses. A big THANK YOU to everyone who has contributed. It is truly a blessing.

I have a couple of posts planned for the coming weeks to update you on some of our work and of course we'll be sure to let everyone know when Silas decides to "come out" as Jude has been requesting for several weeks now!

I've got to get to bed so I can toss and turn sufficiently before my early alarm. The next time you hear from me I'll be enjoying yogurt. Every. Day.

Pasaka (Easter)

We celebrated with our team on Good Friday with worship a meal and an egg hunt for the kids. It was a very rainy day so we had to do it inside. Unfortunately my pictures of that didn't turn out very well.

On Easter Sunday we had some friends over for a meal and Jude made a new friend.
