7 months

Jude decided to go preppy for his 7 month photo shoot.

Reconsidering the preppy look...

Oh yeah, I'm cute in anything!

At 7 months Jude is crawling all over the place! He loves to give kisses. He seems to really understand that is what he's doing, though his kisses are just an open mouth planted on your face. Very slobbery! He laughs a lot and is becoming more vocal, though his noises are still relatively quiet. He loves the puppies and being outside. We are loving watching him grow and can't believe how quickly he is changing.

Etta

Yesterday, Etta came over to bake a cake for a friend's wedding. I think she knew generally how to make cake, but wanted some help. I'm not sure if she was more delighted by the colored icing or the piping bag for decorating! Here is a picture of her with the completed cake.

Later in the afternoon, this was the view out our front door:

That's one way to get in your golf practice, while watching the baby!

Birthday

I absolutely cannot believe it is October 1st, and figure I better get up pics from my birthday before they are way outdated.

Here is me with the amazing ice cream cake Carson made.

Presents!

Yes that was a present and a darn good one. Cereal is expensive around these parts so we don't eat it much.

Carson gave me one of these the morning of my birthday. That night I got a package with a lot more plus some other goodies. If you like dark chocolate and haven't tried these you must.

Carson also made me a present which requires a little explanation. With rainy season fast approaching we are sure to see more days where the clothes line looks like this:

Empty.

But the clothes still need to be washed, so Carson made me a drying rack that sits on the concrete ledge in the bathroom. It can easily be removed when not in use.

As if that wasn't enough, he found a fan at the junk store, painted it, and installed it in the bathroom ceiling to assist with the drying.

It was a great birthday.
