there's a railroad track in my yard

Well, actually it's a camera dolly track. Carson has been continuing to work on Grip (everything dealing with holding cameras) for Mbegu Films. The boom (the big long arm with the camera hanging off the end) was done before we went on furlough. Just last week Carson added a really cool feature. He can rotate the camera from the other end of the boom. This thing can roll, tilt, swivel, and make every sort of movement I can imagine. I'd share some of the test videos he's done trying this thing out, but I'm pretty sure I'm the reluctant star in all of them!

Carson has also been spending some of his time reading several books to help him with the actual writing of the story for one of the videos. Actually it will be a series that will hit on lots of issues in an entertaining way. He's already got a basic storyline, but is continuing to tweak the plot and work out the details of the characters. 

If you look closely at the second picture you will see that Jude likes to be right in the middle of it all every chance he gets!
