Covenant Retreat

We had a wonderful weekend at the Greek's and Meeks's. These 2 couples were on the same mission team in Kenya, and now have log cabins next door to each other in Pioneer, Tn.  They helped our team work through writing covenants to God, each other, our spouses(families), and supporting congregations. They also shared lots of stories from their years on the field. It was such a blessing to spend time with these incredible couples (and a few of their kids).  On Saturday, we hiked up their mountain to an underground cave. Several people ventured in, but Carson and I just enjoyed the hike. (We didn't want to get our clothes muddy!)  The Harrisons and we stayed for church service Sunday afternoon in Jellico and spent an additional night.  We woke up Monday morning to a beautiful world of white! I was thrilled to see some good snow, since we've not had much this year.  The entire weekend was relaxing and encouraging.

A nice picture of Katelyn, mid-hike

Apparently I stand with my hands clasped like this fairly often. I didn't realize.
